A Couples Counselor and narrative therapist, I have two decades of experience helping people live new, empowering stories for their lives. 25 years of art-making and an MFA as a painter has informed my ability to creatively meet my clients' hopes for their futures.

Therapy gives us an opportunity to find and give voice to our authentic selves, achieving healing in the process. I am passionate about working with couples, adults, and teens who have become stuck in destructive patterns and are looking for change.

I am the director of the La Vie Center with over 30 psychologists, MFT's and staff therapists with a wide range of fees and specialties, and we have been helping people since 1980. Because of our size and our experience we will have a counselor that is right for you.

I offer quality individual and family therapies in my two boutique practices in Hermosa Beach and Torrance locations. Also, I have been offering confidential video counseling to those would rather receive my services at comfort of their houses.

Dr. Rand believes her clients have the answers they need inside of them, and she gently guides them to a greater connection to their own inner knowing. With that internal connection to their sense of self, they can deal with their everyday problems of living.

LMFT who combines talk, creative arts, and play to address personal hurdles and unspoken pains with my clients. I offer mutually co-created opportunities for change through creative arts therapies because sometimes words aren't enough, no matter your age.
